Sébastien Bourdin is a Professor of Economic Geography & Environmental Management at IESEG School of Management. With a PhD in Geography and an Accreditation to Supervise Research, his expertise lies in Regional Development, Ecological Transition & Environemental Management. He is also a specialist in European issues, including Cohesion Policy and Public Policy Evaluation. In his research, he combines quantitative methods, such as Spatial Econometrics and Modeling, with qualitative methods to offer a comprehensive perspective. Sébastien Bourdin has successfully led numerous research projects on contemporary subjects, including Renewable Energies and the Circular Economy.

Sébastien Bourdin est Professeur de géographie économique & de management environnemental à l’IESEG School of Management, diplômé d’un Doctorat et d’une Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches en Géographie, ses recherches portent sur le développement territorial, la transition écologique et le mangement environnemental. Il est également spécialiste des questions européennes, de la Politique de cohésion et de l’évaluation des politiques publiques. Ses travaux allient de manière unique méthodes quantitatives –économétrie spatiale et modélisation– et méthodes qualitatives. Sébastien Bourdin a dirigé plusieurs projets de recherche européens et nationaux sur des sujets d’actualité tels que les énergies renouvelables et l’économie circulaire.
